Summer's Return One

This giclee print was done from a original work on paper that the artist painted using watercolor, gouache, and ink. Summer's Return I and II capture the moment when butterflies start appearing in the garden and flowers are starting to bloom. This artist's yard is also full of aspen trees, a ever recurring subject in the work. Topographical lines enliven the spaces between the trees and the trunks.
