Summer's Return Two

This giclee print was done from an original work on paper that the artist painted using watercolor, gouache, and ink. Summer's Return I and II capture the moment when butterflies start appearing in the garden and flowers are starting to bloom. This artist's yard is also full of aspen trees, an ever recurring subject in the work. Topographical lines enliven the spaces between the trees and the trunks. This is a signature style of the artist.
